CHICAGO (AP) - Hundreds of thousands of Chicago parents are scrambling for a place to send their children, with public school teachers on strike in a bitter contract dispute.
The union for teachers and the school district resumed negotiations Monday, but still couldn't reach a settlement.
Teachers will be on the picket line for a second day Tuesday.
