Chile's President states country's fast growing economy is at no risk

President Sebastian Pinera has stated Chile is at no risk of high inflation and economic distortion since the economy has been growing.

Chile must grow at a rate of six percent for several years, according to President Pinera, for Chile to become a developed country.

President Pinera is confident in the country's economic growth due to the reliance on foreign investment instead of relying on debt for financing.

Last year, Chile's inflation rate was at 1.5 percent and continues to be monitored.

President Pinera is the most unpopular Chilean leader to date, but the country's recent economic growth and low unemployment has lifted his approval ratings.
