Chloesterol-lowering drugs taken by millions of people may prevent Dementia when they're taken for more than a year.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University studied Statins. The Food and Drug Administration changed the labels on the drugs to warn of the potential for memory loss with short-term use. But Researchers say there is no connection between Statins and memory problems, and found a reduced risk for Dementia.
