The California Highway Patrol is investigating a theft case after various pieces of construction equipment were stolen from storage containers at the Cuesta Grade construction project on southbound Highway 101.
CHP said it happened just south of Cuesta Springs Road sometime between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. Investigators said someone broke into three large storage containers, taking portable generators, chain saws, concrete drills, lasers, a pressure washer, a nail gun and other items.
Anyone with information is asked to call the CHP office at 805-593-3300.
