CHP reports man killed in accident on Hwy. 166

Fatal accident on Highway 166

California Highway Patrol reports a 23 year old man from Santa Maria was killed in a car accident Thursday night.

CHP says the man was driving on Hwy. 166 east of Pine Canyon when he lost control of his car as he approached a turn.

The car went onto an embankment and flipped. Officers say he was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, and died. His name has not been released.
