Christmas Eve house fire in Santa Maria

Fire officials are investigating a Christmas Eve house fire in Santa Maria.
The Santa Maria Police Department says the fire started a little after 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of North College Drive.
The fire sent smoke 30 feet into the air.
Crews worked quickly and were able to contain the fire.
No injuries have been reported and the cause is under investigation.
