If you're still looking for a way to throw away your Christmas tree, you have a few options.
In Paso Robles, you can bring your bare tree to the lot on 4th and Pine Streets daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is free to drop off trees, and the last day to do so is January 10.
In San Luis Obispo, just cut your tree into three-foot pieces and put it in your green waste container. It will be picked up with your normal trash services.
In Santa Maria, tree collection starts Monday. Place your bare tree at least three feet away from your trash can, and it will be picked up with your normal trash services.
If your city is not listed here, contact your local waste management agency for more information.
