City fire in urgent need of Measure S money

Santa Maria Fire Chief Jeff Jones is hoping voters pass Measure S on the November ballot, which he says would help staff the new fire station.
The 1/2 cent sales tax would bring $1.8 million annually to the city of Santa Maria for police and fire services.
