City of Santa Maria hosts a blood drive Thursday

Blood donations are needed every three seconds.

Thursday you have a chance to make a difference at the Santa Maria city-wide blood drive.

From noon until 4 p.m. head to the Paul Nelson Aquatics Center on South McClelland to donate.

All blood types are encouraged to come donate, and there is a huge need for O-negative donors.

Donating only takes a short time.
