Hundreds of people were revving their engines for the 21st annual Arroyo Valley Car Show.

Classic cars dating from 1910 to the 1990s lined the streets of downtown Arroyo Grande.

People strolled the show to take a peek at some vehicles they have not seen since their childhood, and as one showgoer noted, it was not just the cars providing entertainment.

"It's a lot of memories, it's like going down memory lane here," said Pam Link, a photographer and car enthusiast. "You hear everybody talking about, 'oh I remember when I drove one of those,' so it's been wonderful listen to the stories, just great."

Proceeds from entry fees, a raffle and other activities will benefit charitable organizations in the South County.

Can't these idiots show off during the spring or fall when they will not be blocking people that drive a long way to go to Lopez or downtown? The selfish bastards have no respect.

I think you are the selfish bastard with no respect. You people who drive a long way to go to Lopez are the ones congesting the street.
You know there is more than one way to get to the lake right? Moron.
