H-TRUE VIEW 6 WEATHER

Clear skies and warm temperatures return today and tomorrow

High pressure is going to bring us warm temperatures and clear, blue skies for the next 48 hours... but then a change arrives.

In the meantime, we'll be looking at temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s, from north to south. Off-shore winds will also keep the fog away over night, and there's a Red Flag warning in effect for the time frame from tonight into tomorrow, as Santa Ana conditions build and dry out the vegetation.

Tomorrow, the mercury will climb another degree or two before the high pressure gives way to a storm system moving our way from the Gulf of Alaska.

That system will cool us off and bring a good chance for rain on Wednesday-as much as 3/4s of an inch in parts of northwestern San Luis Obispo County. Other areas will see less, but the storm will at least cool us off and bring rain to most regions of the Central Coast.

Here's a look at today's high temperatures:
Paso Robles-67
Atascadero-66
Morro Bay-65
San Luis Obispo-70
Pismo Beach-65
Nipomo-67
Guadalupe-66
Santa Maria-68
Los Alamos-69
Solvang-72
Vandenberg-68
Goleta-71
Santa Barbara-69
