A Central Coast man had to be rescued from the bottom of a cliff in Pismo Beach Friday night.
Matt Boyer of Arroyo Grande was flying a remote controlled airplane at Margo Dodd Park when it fell to the beach.
Boyer went down to get it but couldn't climb back up.
He also couldn't reach a staircase because of the tide.
CAL FIRE used a rope and basket to rescue Boyer. He was not hurt in the incident.
