Marine clouds rolled in this afternoon at the beaches and will be a factor for the 4th as temperatures at the beaches will likely top out only in the 60s. As for clearing for the planned fireworks, I think there will be partial clearing during the day with reformation in the evening but an approaching trough should mean the base of the clouds will be high enough to shoot fireworks under. A low cloud deck similar to today would make viewing difficult. It is not an ideal forecast as some clouds are expected.
Further inland cooler conditions are developing, Thursday is a transition day as the trough swings through Friday for a much cooler outlook for the weekend, below normal in fact.
