Coast Guard recovers body from San Francisco Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - U.S. Coast Guard crews have recovered a body floating found in the waters of San Francisco Bay.

A Coast Guard spokesman says the body of man was found in the water near the Golden Gate Bridge around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Coast Guard says the man was not wearing a life vest or any sort of foul weather gear.

The person, who has not been identified, was described only as a middle-age man.

Coast Guard officials had no additional information.
