Coast Guard rescues diver near Pt. Conception

The Coast Guard rescues a diver off the coast of Santa Barbara county.
Coast Guard officials say at about 12:30p.m. Sunday, they were called to a vessel offshore near Pt. Conception on report of a 42-year-old man who was suffering from a dive-related illness. Crews sent a life boat and a rescue helicopter to evacuate the man and he was taken to UCLA Medical Center's hyperbaric chamber.
The man is in stable condition. His name has not been released.
