Coastal Christian plays in CIF semifinals on Tuesday

The Coastal Christian Conquerors continue their CIF title quest on Tuesday in the Division 5AA girls volleyball semifinals. Coastal Christian, the #3 seed, plays Pomona Catholic, the #2 seed at 6:30 pm. The game will be played at Damien High School.
Coastal Christian enters 26-1 under head coach Misty Sano despite having no subs on its bench. Pomona Catholic is 23-7 overall.
The winner advances to Saturday's final at Cypress Colelge against the Alverno/Desert Christian semifinal winner.
Coastal Christian is the only remaining girls volleyball team left in the postseason from San Luis Obispo or Northern Santa Barbara County.
Coastal Christian lost to Coast Union last year in the CIF finals.
