Coastal Christian volleyball star Koral Wright is officially a Dustdevil.
The entire CCS student-body was on-hand to celebrate its student body President receiving a full-ride to play at Texas A&M International in Laredo.
Wright led the League champion Conquerors with 446 digs this fall. Coastal Christian went 26-2 and lost in the CIF semifinals.
The opportunity for Wright is significant because she's going from a school with 50 kids to a Division II level university with 7,000 students.
"I think it feels really great but I think it's a really good fit because it's not as big as some of the colleges that I was looking at so it's still got that homey feeling with an athletic program, which i'm really looking forward to," said Wright.
The Dustdevils went 15-12 this fall.
Koral plans to major in biology with hopes of becoming a doctor.
