Cold front decays on Central Coast Thursday for some showers

Clouds are on the way as a low pressure system and cold front drop through the West Coast Thursday. The dynamics look pretty good just north of our area but as the front arrives on the Central Coast Thursday morning it starts to fall apart. Still, clouds and showers are likely but rain totals should be under .10 for most (north coast could see as much as .25"). South of the Santa Ynez mountains any measurable amounts of rain are not likely.

Following this system skies clear Friday with temps rebounding to around 70. Lower 70s for Saturday and a bigger jump into the upper 70s and 80s for Sunday and Monday.
