Cold night ahead prompts advisory

Frost advisory remains in effect from 2 am to 8 am Thursday

Falling to between 30 and 32 degrees by 2 am in sheltered areas away from the immediate coast with up to 6 hours of sub freezing temperatures possible.

Frost-sensitive plants could be damaged.

A frost advisory means that frost is imminent. Protective measures should be taken to protect sensitive outdoor plants.

Pets should be brought indoors for the night.
