Comedy night raises serious cash for local hospital

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital has announced that its Comedy Night event held last weekend raised nearly $85,000.

"On behalf of the entire Foundation Board, I want to thank the community, our very generous restaurants, wineries, donors, vendors and volunteers", said Montisa Phelan Lopez, AGCH Foundation Executive Director. "We are so fortunate to have such a generous and supportive community".

Proceeds from the event will go toward the hospital's patient room modernization campaign, which will bring modern technology to the rooms to assist physicians and nurses when treating patients at the hospital.
