The Southern California Gas Company says crews are continuing to pump water out of a gas pipe Monday after a water main broke Sunday, causing water to enter the gas line.
The main areas affected are between Highway 41 and Traffic Way.
Officials say a command post is being set up Monday at 8 a.m. at Lewis and Entrada avenues for any customers that would like more information.
The gas company says it will have workers going to homes Monday to provide customers with letters with more information on the work being done.
Officials say customers do not need to stay home waiting for the workers.
Officials say customers should not do anything with their gas meter and if they have already turned their meter off, to leave it off.
Anyone with questions about the outage can visit the command post or call the gas company at (661) 699-5089.
It is not know when the issue will be resolved.
