Community comes together to support 4-year-old with leukemia

The community of Grover Beach came together on Saturday to help one of their littlest members.
A Zumba party was held at Tantrum Fitness for Jillian Garcia.
At just 4-years-old, she's battling a rare form of leukemia.
During the event, two co-ed Zumba classes were held, featuring seven different instructors.
A $10 donation was requested to participate.
"It's amazing how much the community has come together to help her (Jillian) and support the family and everything. It's been truly amazing," says Jillian's mom, Rosemary Garcia.
The money raised will help the Garcia family with medical bills, travel costs, and other expenses.
Rosemary says they travel to Stanford once or twice a week.
Shelby Bundy, owner of Tantrum Fitness, put on the event.
Her daughter and Jillian attended pre-school together.
Although Jillian has been unable to attend pre-school since being diagnosed with leukemia, her mom says she is still doing well.
"She's been amazing. Surprisingly, 4-year-olds are very resilient, so she's been doing awesome with chemo. She's in remission right now. We have a long journey ahead of us, but she's doing awesome."
Bundy says she expects Saturday's event raised at least $500.
They also held a rummage sale last weekend, which raised about $1,500.
"We're very grateful. We had the community come together. We had a lot of donations from local businesses and it's amazing to see everybody come together for a little girl they don't really know or haven't met yet," Bundy says.
