More than 75 sellers turned their clutter into cash Satuday in Templeton, but the community garage sale wasn't just about getting rid of junk.
The sale was also promoting the three R's. Bargain hunters and sellers turned out to Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle their old stuff.
Vendors like Carol Coffman say it's a great way to keep things out of the landfill.
"It's good. It gets everybody out, gets everybody cleaning out their garages, and one man's junk is another man's treasure, right? Yeah, it's good," said Coffman.
Saturday's are also Farmers Market in Templeton. So while buyers and sellers were going green, they could also pick up some local fruits and vegetables.
