Christmas will be a little brighter for some children this year thanks to a local organization.
The Traveling Children's Closet stopped in San Miguel on Sunday to deliver Christmas presents and many other items to kids in need.
They were handing out clothing, toys, diapers, books, and much more.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson was there, along with California State Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian, who was Santa for the afternoon.
PG&E also helped out by providing the truck that pulled the trailer holding all of the items.
Organizers say more than 200 children were expected to attend the event.
