Congresswoman Lois Capps visits Santa Maria

Local Congresswoman Lois Capps continues to meet with community and business leaders on the Central Coast to talk about surviving the tough economy. Today the 23rd District representative was in Santa Maria for part of her Economic Recovery tour. She's trying to figure out how to get the local economy back on track.
Congresswoman Capps says, "We have made progress. There are big steps that have been taken by the federal government to address the economic recession that we have been in and remain in, but progress has been made."
The congresswoman also heard from business owners about what they think needs to be done to stimulate the economy.
