NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Regular train service is returning this morning from Connecticut to New York City after last Friday's derailment that injured more than 70 people.
A stretch of track had to be rebuilt following the crash.
The restored service also includes Amtrak service between Boston and New York. Meanwhile, Connecticut lawmakers plan hearings about the crash on the rail network they say is in need of extensive improvements.
