The wild weather is keeping roofing companies busy. One company, based out of San Luis Obispo says since the rain started, more than four-hundred calls have come in from customers with leaks. Workers say, once water enters your home it can only mean trouble.
Los Osos Community Services District General Manager, Tim Cassidy says, "Dry rot. The dirty word mold. You know a lot of things it can ruin everything in sight, computers TV's the floors. It takes out everything on it's way down and it's just very expensive."
Experts say, it's all about prevention. Spending a little money on weatherproofing your home when it's nice outside could save you a bundle when the rain starts to fall.
