If you plan on driving in Goleta for the next few weeks, you may want to give yourself some extra time.
The city will begin its Hollister Avenue Overlay project Wednesday, between Fairview and Kellogg Avenues. The project includes grinding and paving of the roadway and repainting the traffic markings.
The work will take place between July 17 and August 30, from 8pm to 4am.
One lane will remain open in each direction but traffic delays, noise and dust should be expected. Cars will also not be able to park along Hollister Avenue.
