Low pressure approaching from the Northwest will bring cooling into the weekend. The marine layer will be slow to clear at the beach and coastal communities. Gusty winds are expected Saturday evening into Sunday morning for Santa Barbara County. The highs will be several degrees below normal. High pressure will build Sunday into the beginning of the week, bringing warmer temperatures and a decrease in the marine layer. On Sunday, temperatures are expected to be below normal, but possibly 3-6 degrees warmer than Saturday. Monday is expected to be the warmest day. Offshore winds will assist in clear skies. A cooling trend is expected for the middle of next week. Temperatures should reach the 90's inland and 60's-70 at the beaches and coastal valleys.
