On and off rain showers (and the slight t-storm chance) continues into the evening over the Central Coast, but the larger story perhaps will simply be the cooler temperatures and the localized stronger winds which has prompted a few advisories.
As our shower system moves out weather will turn quiet, and if skies clear quickly tonight there is potential for the low temps to be very cool. After that highs return quickly into the 70s to close the week.
A ridge builds over the area through the weekend and some temps will even approach 80 over the period.
Early next week is a question, models don't agree if the ridge holds and the mild temps or if a trough develops and allows more marine onshore winds to develop, regardless no rain is expected after today's system.
