Refreshing cooler than normal temperatures thru Wednesday as weak low pressure aloft and increasing onshore flow dominates. This is particularly welcome in the interior where temperatures have been hovering near 100 several days, the next few will be in the upper 80s and low 90s. But marine clouds and slow clearing at beaches means only upper 50s and low 60s for highs there and lower 70s in coastal valleys.
Warm weather and a decrease in marine layer cloud coverage will return for late in the week and the weekend as high pressure becomes reestablished.
