Oh, what a difference a few days make!
We're expecting cooler than normal temperatures around the Central Coast today, with some spots barely making it into the 60s! Once again, some beach areas' temperatures may exceed those in the inland regions. Santa Barbara is likely to be one of the hot spots, topping out at 69-degrees.
A low pressure trough is churning its way eastward from the Pacific, bringing lots of clouds and some rain to portions of California just north of us.
That system is gradually heading south and we'll see an increase in clouds and a possibility of rain as it moves through San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
Whatever precipitation we see is likely to be minimal, though--drizzle to light rain at best--then the system will clear out, setting the stage for a mid-week warming trend that will peak over the weekend.
