Skies were generally clear across the Central Coast Monday, but temperatures were few degrees cooler than the weekend. Monday night will be mostly clear with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

Tuesday should be partly cloudy and temperatures should be slightly cooler than normal.

An upper-level low pressure system is expected to move slowly down the California coast. This system is expected to create clouds and showers along the coastline. There is also a chance for a few thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday nights into Thursday morning.

At this time, rainfall amounts appear to be moderate to light.
