Heading into the weekend, we should see near normal temperatures. A weak onshore flow returns with another round of cooling expected for tomorrow. Low clouds and the possibility of spotty dense fog tonight along the coast are expected to push inland during the early morning hours of Saturday. Temperatures should drop by 3-5 degrees with the low clouds clearing out by mid-morning. Sunday is expected to be similar to Saturday's weather. By Monday, a ridge of high pressure is expected to build, bringing a warm up by about 3-6 degrees and clearing throughout the week. However, clouds are expected to linger Monday night into Tuesday morning which could result in slight cooling on Tuesday. The return of the offshore flow by Wednesday and Thursday should increase temperatures into the upper 70's inland. Slightly cooler temperatures are expected Friday. Patchy dense fog is a possibility along the coast tonight and into Saturday. This will most likely occur in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. However, it is possible for it to venture into Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Visibility could be down to a quarter mile or less.
