Today, we'll see low clouds and fog in the morning with partial clearing in the afternoon. Highs will range from the upper 50s to mid 60s at the beaches to the low 80s in the interior valleys. Afternoon winds will be out of the west at about 15 miles per hour.

Thunderstorms are still possible for some of the mountains and deserts later today.

Tonight, low clouds and fog will roll back into the region. Lows will dip into the upper 40s and 50s with northwest winds around 15 miles per hour.

Cooler weather will continue through Saturday, then warm up to start the week.
