After another hot day inland on Sunday, temperatures will start their gradual descent, Monday.
Many interior valley communities were well in the triple digits on Sunday, but things will begin to cool down to the upper 90's to begin the week and continue dropping to the upper 80's, low 90's by mid week.
Coastal valleys will remain in the mid to upper 70's to start the week, then drop a few degrees by mid week. Expect more fog and patchy clouds to start the mornings, but that should clear out by mid morning.
Beaches will be a bit more consistent, only dropping a degree or two with the cooling trend. Expecting temps to say in the mid to upper 60's. The marine layer will deepen Monday and Tuesday, but don't think the clouds will stick around all day.
Have a great week!
