The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's-Coroner's office has identified the man who died after being hit by a car in Cambria Thursday.

Investigators say Milton M. Torell, 64, was walking with his bicycle on northbound Hwy. 1 just north of Cambria Pines Road when he was hit by car driven by Francis Doubravea, 46, of San Simeon.

The California Highway Patrol says Doubrava couldn't see Torell because he was wearing dark clothing.

The driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the CHP says.
