CORRECTION: Early morning car chase results in two people arrested

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's County Deputies responded to a report of two men acting suspiciously in a car in Cayucos early Friday morning.

The Sheriff's Department say when they arrived, the suspects,Arthur Gamez, 35, and Dominic Louie Bracamonte, Jr. Deputies originally identified Gamez as Niko Feagaimaali.

The chase reached speeds up to 70 miles per hour in a residential area ending in a crash near 13th Street and South Ocean.

Both suspects ran off but deputies were able to catch up and arrest them.

Neither of the suspects were injured. Both were taken into custody.
