Cotton Fire is 100 percent contained

As of 6 p.m. yesterday, fire officials say the Cotton Fire is 100 percent contained.
The fire broke out on Saturday off Highway 166 near New Cuyama.
Approximately 2,044 acres burned. Crews hope to have the area fully controlled by Thursday.
