Court date set for Arroyo Grande City Councilman

A new arraignment date is set for the Arroyo Grande City Councilman accused of domestic violence. Forty-three-year-old Ed Arnold will be arraigned on Jan. 25.
Wednesday's scheduled arraignment was postponed because the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office says they wanted more time to investigate before filing charges.
Arnold was arrested earlier this month for charges including assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The name of the 28-year-old victim has not been released.
