Attorneys in the trial of a well known San Luis Obispo businessman accused of receiving stolen property made their closing arguments today.

William McBurney works at the jewelery store "All That Glitters" in San Luis Obispo. Back in June 2010, officers arrested him for buying two pieces of stolen jewelery.

He faces two felony charges of receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor of delaying or obstructing a peace officer. Yesterday, the court dropped two misdemeanor charges against McBurney. He had also been charged with running a second hand business without a license, but the court dropped those charges based on that fact that he is just an employee while his son is the company president.
