Crash on Highway 154 sends one person to the hospital

An early morning crash on Highway 154 sends one person to the hospital with major injuries.
It happened near the entrance to Lake Cachuma just after 4 a.m.
A Santa Barbara County Fire spokesperson says a single vehicle crashed into a tree.
Crews worked for 45 minutes to extricate the victim from his car.
He was taken to Cottage Hospital with major injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
