Crews investigating cause of house fire in Paso Robles

Paso Robles Fire Department tells KSBY News crews responded to a structure fire late Sunday night.

Firefighters on scene found the fire in the back corner a home on the 3200 block of Oak Street in Paso Robles.

They say they quickly stopped the spread of the fire. Two people were home when the fire broke out, but crews say they escaped before firefighters arrived.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Department of Emergency Services fire investigators.

A total of 15 firefighters from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services, CalFire/SLO County Fire and Atascadero Fire Department responded to the fire.
