Crews quickly knock down brush fire in Santa Barbara

The Santa Barbara City Fire and Santa Barbara County fire were on scene of a brush fire that broke out just after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire was near a residence home located in the 20 block of El Prado Place. Firefighters on scene said the home owner disposed of hot ashes improperly which sparked the fire.
Crews quickly gained control of the fire within 5 minutes and cleared the scene at 12:00.
There were no reports of any injuries and house had minimal damage.
