Crews responding to a distressed kayaker off the coast of Shell Beach

UPDATE: CAL FIRE says the harbor patrol rescued the kayaker, who was not injured.
CAL FIRE crews are responding to a person whose kayak sunk, and who is now stuck in a kelp bed between Shell Beach and Pirate's Cove.
