California State University officials have named the three finalists to take over the job of President of Cal Poly.

The finalists are:

- Sona K. Andrews, provost and vice president for academic affairs and professor of geosciences, Boise State University, will visit the campus on Monday, May 24.

- Carlo Montemagno, dean and professor of engineering education, College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Cincinnati, will visit the campus on Tuesday, May 25.

- Steven R. Angle, provost and professor of chemistry, Wright State University, will visit the campus on Wednesday, May 26.

Each of the three days the finalists visit the campus, they will meet with faculty, staff, students and alumni. An open forum will be held daily for the campus community, from 4:10 to 5:30p.m. in the Advanced Technology Laboratories.

Back in December, current Cal Poly President Warren Baker announced his retirement. He lead the campus for 30 years.

CSU leaders hope to have their next president ready to take over the job by fall.
