The Cuesta College Board of Trustees has announced that Dr. Gil Stork has been appointed as the college's interim superintendent/president.
Dr. Stork will begin his new position on January 1, 2010 pending approval of a contract. He will serve in the interim position for about a year or until a permanent replacement can be found.
Dr. Stork has had a relationship with the college since 1967. Recently, he served as the interim dean of workforce and economic development.
Last month, Cuesta president Dr. David Pelham announced his resignation after accepting a position as a college president in the United Arab of Emirates.
