Cuesta College hires new softball head coach

With the 2012 season about to start, Cuesta College hired Sheila McGuire as its new softball head coach. McGuire became Cuesta's third head coach in the last four years.
She inherits a program that has not made the playoffs since 2008. After playing at San Joaquin Delta College and the University of Pacific, McGuire has coached at the high school, collegiate and club levels.
The mother of four has also taught special education classes at both Delta College and in the Lodi Unified School District.
