The Cuesta College Drama Department is kicking off the holiday season with a production of "The Snow Queen," an adaptation of the popular Hans Christian Anderson fairytale.
The show opens Friday, November 30 at the Cultural and Performing Art Center's main stage at Cuesta College, and will run for six performances.
The story tells the tale of one girl's journey to save her best friend from the evil Snow Queen. Along the way she encounters witches, thieves, talking birds and enchanted
"We want to offer the community a rich and positive story for the holidays. One that inspires both the heart and the mind," said Philip Valle, the show's director.
The show runs Friday through Sunday starting Friday, November 30 and ending on Sunday, December 9.
