Cuesta Colleges gets grant for student mental health programs

Cuesta College received a $154,000 grant to help students with mental health challenges.

The funds will be used to train staff to better serve students who struggle with mental health challenges.

Cuesta will also introduce active minds, it's a new student-run campus club to increase awareness and reduce the stigma of mental health.

The grant is through the California Community College Student Mental Health Program.
